{silly sunday} sweet sponsors
Put on your propeller hat and silly glasses ‘cuz it’s…
In the party business, you meet a lot of really wonderfully talented and incredibly sweet people. When you have the opportunity to work with them, you are often inspired by their creativity and generosity. Of course, there are times this isn’t true and you have a completely different experience and you just have to pick yourself up and move on. Fortunately, I recently experienced the wonderful kind.
When the Crew was planning our Valentine’s collaboration, “A Vintage Valentine,” I knew that styling the party, creating my own projects and making all of the food would be a monumental task on top of my workload. I decided to put out a “Casting Call” for sponsors on Facebook and I immediately received a response from Lynlee of Lynlee’s Petite Cakes. Lynlee and I had been “virtual” admirers of each other’s work for a while and knew that we wanted to partner up for a project. This one was a perfect fit! Lynlee is truly one of the sweetest people I have ever met and an incredibly talented lady!
Here’s a lil’ background on Lynlee and a few of her FaBulouS creations…
Lynlee Beckett founded Lynlee’s Petite Cakes in 2010, shortly after throwing her daughter’s third birthday party, when her love of planning parties, crafting and decorating cupcakes culminated into an undeniable passion. After working in the fashion industry as an Accessories buyer for 10 years, Lynlee transitioned into the party world and began making custom-designed cupcake and cake fondant toppers, as well as party styling. Lynlee’s mission is to help you plan and throw an unforgettable and personalized party that will forever remain in the hearts of your friends and loved ones with toppers, tutorials and inspiration!
Couldn’t you just faint from adorableness?!? Lynlee created these lil’ cuties for us which were inspired by the Vintage Valentines Collection…

Our other sponsor was a new vendor to me but came highly recommended by Jenny of Crossing the Bugger-Dixon Line and Mayra of In Flight. Both of these ladies had nothing but great things to say about Janet of Sweet Temptations. Janet truly came in and saved the day when one of our other sponsors dropped out a week before the photo shoot. I was thrilled when I opened the package from her to find these beautiful treasures…
…Lace Chocolate Covered Oreos which were not only beautiful but are so tasty! I’m not a white chocolate fan at all…but these were simply delicious!
Here’s a lil’ background on Janet and her company, Sweet Temptations, along with a couple of her GorGeouS creations…
Sweet Temptations specializes in confectionery specialities such as chocolate covered Oreos, cake pops, custom cakes and much more. Having my business background as a graduate from Long Island University and my passion for baking led to start my self taught business in confectionery. Two years ago for my son’s 3rd birthday party I decided to try making my very first fondant cake. I had so much fun making it and everyone’s positive feedback and motivation to start my own home based business brought me to where I am now. Throughout these two years I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with several talented event stylists and thanks to Facebook, Etsy and word of mouth I have received orders throughout the entire United States, Canada, France, South Korea and China.

I hope you’ll stop by each of these delectable shops and let them know this lil’ piggy and her Crew sent ya!
Thank you, Lynlee and Janet, for your support, generosity and amazing treats! You are both a joy to work with and “A Vintage Valentine” would not have been the same without your fabulous donations! {hogs and kisses}

Wow! What what an incredible and humbling feature! So lucky to be sharing it alongside such an incredible talent as Janet from Sweet Temptations! Thank you, once again, for allowing me to be a part of this collaboration with the amazingly talented and inspirational Crew! Hope to work together again soon!!! ♥
