It’s time to put away your pocketbooks for another edition of…

It has been a really amazing week around the PiG PeN! I mean…REALLY amazing! We were featured in two magazines this week—Elegant Impressions (page 18) and Tots to Teens Magazine (pages 66 and 74 with GreyGrey Designs). I also received an incredibly sweet email from Kate of Kate Landers Events, LLC telling me how our “infamous” paper plate backdrop inspired her latest dessert table backdrop. She also mentioned us in the beautiful and heartfelt party featured on Hostess with the Mostess this week. If that wasn’t enough, A to Zebra Celebrations featured our “An Ocean Full of Wishes” party today.

Throughout the week I also felt so much love and support from party chicks including sweet Facebook posts from Lynlee Petite CakesSouthern Belle’s Charm and Peas & Thank Yous as well as fun pig photos from The Purple Pug, Fanciful Events and Sugar Pie Parties! Two extemely special posts were shared by our Crew members, Maria of Love & Sugar Kisses and Jenny of Crossing the Bugger-Dixon Line. These two ladies made my bacon-flavored heart melt and touched me more than mere words can express.

The bounty of blessings this week reminded me to take time and do something that has sadly taken the sidelines recently. I want and need to take time to say, “Thank You!” not just with a quick Facebook thanks…but a good old fashioned Thank You note. There is nothing more precious than receiving a handwritten note in your mailbox. It is a ritual that is too often swept to the side with all of the ways to communicate quickly and easily. Kindness and thoughtfulness is not quick and easy. It is meaningful and special. That being said, today’s “Free for All Friday” is dedicated to saying, “Thank You!”
