Grab your pencil and notepad because it’s…

Have you ever thrown out junk the kiddos bring home from parties in their favor bags? I do this more often than I should admit…either the toys break immediately or they get unidentifiable candy. When hosting birthday parties, I always try to find fun, inexpensive favors that are both KID friendly and PARENT approved. My latest obsession is painting peg dolls. Wouldn’t they make adorable party favors?

I painted both boy and girl peg doll party favors to show you how easy it would be to match different party themes. Meet my latest crush…Tulip, the Dancing Piggy Ballerina. She was created by Piggy Bank Parties for a special birthday party over at Love and Sugar Kisses.

She sure makes a piggy-tastic party favor!

How about some superhero action?

For the boys, I painted Spiderman peg dolls inspired by this Anders Ruff invitation

Materials used: wood peg dolls, acrylic paint, small brushes and acrylic sealer
