oven mitt valentines gift
Rustle up your craft supplies and load your glue guns ‘cuz it’s…
Hello PBP fans! Mariah here from Giggles Galore and I’ve got a sweet DIY project for you today, introducing the Oven Mitt Valentines Gift! Inspiration for this little project came while I was cruising the aisles at Target looking at Valentine’s stuff I didn’t need (please tell me I’m not the only one who can’t stay out of Target!). I spotted cute little oven mitts filled with pancake mix and a mini wooden mixing spoon…light bulbs went off and I almost squealed out loud! I remembered the heart shaped wooden spoons I bought last year on clearance and decided to create my own version of the Oven Mitt Valentines Gift.
- Red oven mitt (Dollar Store)
- Wooden spoon
- Sugar cookie mix
- Icing tube
- Simply Hearts Party Cards from PBP
- Twine and ribbon
Hot glue the ribbon or trim onto the bottom edge of the oven mitt.
Stuff the cookie mix and icing inside the oven mitt.
Tie the wooden spoon on top of the oven mitt with twine or ribbon.
I hand wrote “Too Hot 2 Handle” on a Simply Hearts Party Card and attached it to the wooden spoon.
Give this sweet little Oven Mitt Valentines Gift to your neighbors or friends…maybe they’ll bring you a few cookies! ;)
