{free download} americana lil’ party flags

It’s been a crazy and exciting week around the PiG PeN! We started off the week with our first solo feature on Hostess with the Mostess and a “For Sale” sign went up in the front yard. Tuesday included house showings and our first feature on Disney’s Spoonful. Wednesday was total chaos with TWELVE showings, shipping 100 favor boxes and co-hosting the “Chillin’ and Grillin’: The Ultimate Summer Pinterest Party.” If you missed it, you can see the 280 pins here.

The end of the week flew by and this afternoon we celebrated our week’s adventures with an A.Ma.Zing. Epic Burger and a lil’ dairy-free fro-yo at Menchies. YuM.

Then it happened. The phone rang. We got a full-price offer on the house!

{break for a Happy Dance!}

Feelin’ so blessed…and exhausted…but mostly blessed! Thanks for all of your support during this whole crazy move-non-move-move!

Now it’s your turn to celebrate with another FREE download!

Sometimes it’s the simplest lil’ things that make your guests say, “Ooh!” or “WoW!” If you don’t have time to create anything else, add a Lil’ Party Flag to a straw, lollipop stick or wooden food stake, pop it in a drink, sandwich or cupcake and Ta-Da! You’re a Party Rock Star!

SUPPLIES:

  • Text Weight Paper (white, ivory or kraft colored)
  • Printable Americana Lil’ Party Flags {free download}
  • Straws, Lollipop Sticks or Wooden Food Stakes
  • Scissors
  • Double-stick tape or adhesive

DIRECTIONS:

1. Print the Americana Lil’ Party Flags on the text weight paper. I used ivory for a rustic Americana feel.

2. Cut out the flags except for the tails (forked ends).

3. Add double-sided tape or adhesive to half of the back of each flag.

4. Fold over to create a loop.

5. Slide your straw, stick or stake into the loop and seal down the flag.

6. Trim the tails and any excess paper showing along the sides of the flag.

Ta-Da! Cute lil’ party flags for any style of straw.

The perfect addition to a drinking glass, hero sandwich or a cupcake!

The possibilities are endless!

If you haven’t already, be sure to enter our Chillin’ and Grillin’ Giveaway here.

I hope you’re inspired to slow down this weekend and honor those who gave their lives for our freedom!
