{behind the pig} features, favors and fun in the sun

Don’t fall off your chair…but I’m back! The last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind around the PiG PeN! We’ve been in limbo due to our house sale and moving, but things finally seem to be falling in place. Of course, that means we could possibly be moving in less than TWO weeks or in TWO months! (Still waiting on our closing date…ugh!)

For those of you who have followed our saga of moving…not moving…and moving again, I wanted to share the latest twist in our journey. After weighing all the pros and cons of moving to the Atlanta area against moving to our dream city, Grand Haven, Michigan, it was clear to us that Alpharetta, Georgia was no longer our final destination. This meant we needed to find a place to live…so we worked overtime to get last week’s orders completed. We took off for Michigan last Tuesday and spent the week looking at apartment options since we’re not ready to buy a place yet.

If you follow me on Instagram, you know we also got in a bit of beach time. {Okay, we were at the beach every. single. day.} On our last day, we had the honor of attending 48 weddings.

The morning DJs from a local radio station married 48 couples in Lake Michigan {yes, they actually all stood in the lake!} then hosted a group reception on the beach. Even though it was a publicity stunt, it was so special to share this moment with these couples. It was beautiful to see brides of all ages and walks of life make the journey down the beach escorted by their fathers, mothers, children and friends.

While we were prepping to leave, away in Michigan and been back in the office, it has been a crazy whirlwind of parties, favor boxes and features! Here are a few of the amazing things happenin’ around the PiG PeN…

We finished designing printables for two of our favorite party chicks—Brittany of GreyGrey Designs and Jenny of Craft That Party. They are hosting parties for their own lil’ boys and we were honored to create a few goodies for them. Here’s a sneak peek of “TWO-lladega”…

…and Lego Cops & Robbers!

Ooh…I can’t wait to see these parties!

Whew! I think I may need a nap after this post. I’ll be back tomorrow with tons of Fourth of July inspiration by some of my favorite bloggers!

I hope you’re inspired by all the fun events these amazing ladies are creating!
